Daniel Sanchez

Director of Public Affairs

Daniel Sanchez is the Public Affairs Director for California Advocacy. Mr. Sanchez has over a decade of experience in California politics and is highly skilled in communication strategies. He has worked on multiple campaigns and represented elected officials and government entities as an official spokesman.

Before joining California Advocacy, Mr. Sanchez worked as a Legislative and Public Affairs Officer for the San Bernardino County Assessor-Recorder-Clerk’s office. In this role, he was responsible for the legislative and communications strategy for a county department that oversees the county property tax valuation of over $288 billion annually.

Mr. Sanchez attended the University of California, Riverside, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. While attending the University of California, Mr. Sanchez was selected to participate in the prestigious Robert T. Matsui Congressional Fellowship Program. After graduating, Mr. Sanchez was selected as a Senate Fellow for the California State Legislature. He would go on to work as a communications director for a member of Congress in Washington, DC.

Mr. Sanchez was raised by two immigrant parents in the San Fernando Valley. He is a twin, and his older sisters are also twins. He is married to his high-school sweetheart, Diana, and has two boys, ages 5 and 2.
